RESPONSE

The consortium RESPONSE is one of ten excellent research consortia which are supported by German Federal Ministry and Research (BMBF) until 2022 with 500 million euro.

 

Card-ii-Omics

The interdisciplinary network of partners at the University medical centers and universities at Rostock and Greifswald as well as with the Institute for Implant Technology and Biomaterials in Warnemünde is supported by an excellence funding program of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern federal state.

Antifibrotix

The IBMT is a partner in the research network Antifibrotix coordinated by the Institute for Biostatistics and Informatics in Medicine and Ageing Research at the UMR. It is funded within the program “Validierungsförderung VIP+” of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research until 2023.

REMEDIS

REMEDIS is one of the largest research consortia of the University of Rostock with national and international research and industry partners, which are funded by the Federal ministery for Education and Research with 14 million Euro within the program "Excellent research in the new federal states".
 

MikroLas

With the MikroLas platform and its technological approach to combining ultrashort pulse laser and plasma processing, a new manufacturing branch is emerging on the world market in the field of ultra-precision processing, which with its ability for deterministic surface functionalisation is superior to other processes in the micro- and nanometre range in many aspects.

EU Funding

The Institute for Biomedical Engineering is funded within several projects by financial means of European funds EFRE and ESF. This allowed for the implementation of collaborative projects and the purchase of new equipment.


 

DFG-Projects

The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation) provides funding at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering for the procurement of large-scale equipment as well as for the implementation of projects in the field of basic research.

ZIM

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy supports application-oriented, innovative developments of the institute for use in industry within the framework of the Central Innovation Programm for small and medium-sized enterprises (ZIM).
